Black Hair Care Drive

Peace Family, 

I am writing to announce a vital Black Hair Care Supply Drive to benefit our local vulnerable and houseless Black populations in LA county. This initiative aims to collect essential hair care products specifically formulated for textured, coily, and kinky hair types - items that are often overlooked in traditional donation efforts.

Many individuals within our houseless and vulnerable Black community have unique hair care needs that require specialized products to maintain healthy, well-groomed hairstyles. However, these specialized items can be challenging to acquire, particularly for those facing financial hardship and housing insecurity.

It is my sincere hope that through this drive, we can come together as a community to ensure our family have access to the hair care essentials they require to look and feel their absolute best. Your donations of unused shampoos, conditioners, styling creams, oils, and tools designed for Black hair will make a profound difference in their lives.
